Amy was lovely to work with for my wedding cake. She did such a beautiful job, gave me exactly what I was looking for in the design, and my guests loved it. It arrived right on time and everyone adored it! She made the whole process very easy on our end as well.

My son Daniel and my daughter in-law bought me 2 slices of cake. The best ever. My mom is Dutch and this is our favorite cake. Im so glad you are in Comstock . We Will be back again very soon. I would give you more then 5 stars if I could

A complete nightmare! BEWARE!! The owner Amy is full of herself and has absolutely no professional etiquette whatsoever. Starting with her inability to answer straight forward questions and ending with her backing out of contract and cancelling our order 50 days before my wedding after I already paid the down payment! She cancelled the contract and refunded the down payment I made to hold the date - leaving us to find another cake vendor on short notice! Her excuse? She has worked “for Bert’s for 42 years and made over 10,000 cakes and feels like no matter what she does, she won’t make me happy.” Photo attached. All I did was ask about the pricing for the samples because no other cake vendor had required payment for samples so I didn’t know how much they cost. I also asked her which location we should visit to try the samples. Lastly, I told her that I couldn’t believe that she was charging us the same amount to deliver the cake across the street as she would charge us if she were driving across town. I didn’t say I wouldn’t pay for delivery… I just told her I was surprised that she would do that. The other cake vendor we were considering wasn’t charging us a delivery fee at al

First time customer and was very surprised that Bert's Bakery - Comstock had so many non food items. There is a big assortment of candles, puzzles, cards, figurines and more! I was expecting a bakery only so the additional items were a bonus. The woman running the business was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely return! As for the bakery, I ordered a vanilla cake slice with coconut cream. Delicious! There was a nice selection of cake slices and I think three different types of cookies to choose from. That was all I saw. Don't know if they serve drinks or anything else.
